Currently, KYEC’s in-house developed test platforms have evolved from their initial applications—logic and analog test modules designed for testing mixed-signal devices, power management ICs (PMIC), and radio frequency (RF) components. The application scope has now expanded into the development of high-speed test module mechanisms (e.g., MEMS G/P sensors and CMOS image sensor modules) as well as the design and development of critical technologies and components. This includes proprietary Strip Handler manufacturing technologies and the design and development of VCPC advanced test circuit boards. Moving forward, KYEC will continue to deepen its technical expertise to provide comprehensive logic IC testing technologies.

King Yuan Electronics' (KYEC) R&D team comprises hundreds of professional engineers dedicated to independently developing advanced, cutting-edge semiconductor testing technologies while mastering in-house manufacturing capabilities for related equipment and critical components. Since 2002, KYEC has been developing proprietary test equipment engineered for diverse product applications.
Initially focusing on logic testing solutions powered by proprietary equipment, KYEC received overwhelmingly positive feedback from key customers and successfully deployed these platforms into mass production. In 2007, R&D efforts expanded into proprietary test solutions for CMOS Image Sensor (CIS) chips, and by 2012, KYEC had successfully developed 200 MHz testing technology. Moving forward, KYEC remains committed to advancing R&D toward higher-end automated test equipment (ATE).
Driven by evolving industry demands, KYEC engineered new burn-in systems and modular architectures in 2025 that integrated active testing capabilities, culminating in the launch of the HP320 Burn-In System and Solution. In 2026, by incorporating smart factory principles, KYEC introduced the KITS fully automated production equipment.
